Not sure, but i think half of TE owns LZ8 (including me) which we bought with ebay coupons.

Very true, me too one among them, and though I am happy with the picture quality, I am very concerned about the battery time I get, with a 1300mAh battery it gives like 10 shots before it needs a recharge(mostly I guess battery has gone to dumps), Duracell battery is good for only maybe 30 shots, is it normal or its crapping up on me...

^^ I have an LZ8 too! Use Sanyo Eneloop batteries, gives me 100+ shots easy before a recharge is needed.

I don't think there is anything like dealer warranty. You can avail warranty directly from panasonic. Anyway the listing says BRAND NEW PANASONIC DMC-LZ10 DIGITAL CAMERA WITH BILL & PANASONIC WARRANTY

You can verify with the seller
But generally dealer warranty means - its a grey product, no bill will be provided and its upto the seller to honor warranty(repair) as he claims
but generally dealer warranty doesnt work, dig up some threads like 'ebay camera fraud'
