Ahh, so i gave my Kingston 512 MB DDR1 333 MHz Ram to the main accel-frontline service center which is in andheri east some 1 month back, which is under warranty btw. Till one month there was no response from them on the ram status whether it was RMA'd or not. Then after following up on this issue to them, they told me that my ram has been physically damaged - huh ? When i gave the ram there was absolutely no physical damage on it, suddenly they conclude by saying that we cannot give you a replacement because there is physical damage on it
Calling up on their toll-free number turned out to be a nightmare, those call center suckers have absolutely no decency to talk to their customers.
Even the receipt dosent mention of any physical damage on the ram, maybe something must've happened during transit ? I have e-mailed them a number of times at techsupport_india@kingston.com - and its been 1 week and there has been no response from them. And i am not the only one facing this issue, when i went to my dealer he was like lots of people are being treated in the same manner, even thought the ram has not been physically damaged, they claim that the ram is physically damaged :S
And all this kind of bs only has to happen in india, i wonder what a us customer would've done to such companies. And this is still in existence
Very sad indeed that these threads keep coming up again and again, and the problem still persists, but companies still get away by following such shady practices
Die Kingston Die!!
