HI I AM BUILDING A PC FOR MY AUNT WHO IS A DESIGNER AND DOES SOME DESIGNING WORK ON PC I HAVE THE FOLLOWING CONFIG PLZ SUGGEST ME IF I GO WRONG.I HAVE BEEN TOLD TO LOWER THE COST UPTO 40K.PLEASE SEE FOR IMPROVEMENTS IN BOLD.

As for why I believe the Core i5 will pummel the AMD Phenom IIx6, here are the benches --> http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/363?vs=185.
 
YUP YOUR RIGHT THERE IS A LOT OF DIFFERENCE IN THE BENCHMRKS THANKS MATE WILL GET THIS CONFIG FOR SURE THANKS FOR UR HELP OTHERWISE I WAS GOING FOR X6 AMD.U SAVED ME.

Just a suggestion, dont get the GPU for now. Use the IGP of the Intel HD2000 and then if needed, get the Quadro. In fact, if what software's will be used could be mentioned, this would be the best.

Stick to the Ripjaws rather than XMS3. Unless there is a good discount on the XMS3.

Finally, could you please not shout?

softwares my aunt uses is

corel draw

photo shop

and some video converters

which gfx is ok for such use she does nt play games so higher gfx is useless plz suggest.
 
For such softwares there's no need to get quadro gpu,normal [font=verdana,geneva,sans-serif]GPU-Sapphire/MSI Hd6770-6.7k/HD6850-9.8K gpu will do.[/font]

If you want nvidia gpu then-GTX550TI-8K

actually just wanted to ask wheather is there any gfx card below 5000 which might be good enough for my aunt.i have seen cards of zotac but i donno how good r they.plz suggest a gfx which is cheaper and good one.

Get an nVidia GT 440 ~4400/-, you'll find your experience [in your case the Aunt's] in the viewport will be significantly smoother.

P.S. -- Get a Quadro card if possible [second-hand], it'll be better for your aunt and she'll be able to exploit nVidia plug-ins specifically developed for those softwares [Corel Draw and Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator especially].
 
Anyways im going on friday to buy let me see i will take nvidia or i will wait for some time and take a quadro coz budget is the main problem of my aunt and she cant extend so thats why im in a soup.lets see if she extend will get quadro.

There will be no need to get a dedicated GPU as of now. Wait for some more time then pick up a Quadro if needed.

Do let me know when you do plan to go on Friday as I too have some stuff to pick up.
 
well @vivek have not planned anything right now but friday if there is no work i will go.nt sure though if its sure ill pm u by tommorow.btw what stuff do u want and frm where r u getting it.
