Sorry for the delay friends, was short of vitamin M, now that i have it, i can go for it.

some important questions in my mind :

* I am not going to use it 24 x 7, max 8 + - hrs, do i still need a cpu cooler ?

* I am still short of vitamin M but need to upgrade, hence will go for GPU later, can my SW's run smoothly on current HW specs ?

* Will be having 1 x 500GB & 3 x 2TB HDD's, will my SMPS support this or will have to go for Higher than Corsair TX V2 650 ?

* Last Noob Question, I have HD4350 HM PCI-E card, is this compatible with this current config ?

Thanks for your support people.

Intel Core i5 2500k-13.5k

ASUS Maximus IV Gene-Z-13k

Leadtek NVIDIA Quadro 600-9.5k-http://www.primeabgb...emart&Itemid=53

GSkill 1600MHz 4GB x 2-3.5k

Dell Ultrasharp U2312M-14.5k

Corsair TX 650V2-5.2k

CM Hyper 212 Evo-2.1k

i7 is out of budget,If you really want to oc then you'd have to extend the budget to 60k otherwise non-oc rig fits the budget-i5 2400+intel DH67bl-b3.

Hope this helps.

i would suggest not to go for the 2500k if you are going to use the pc for rendering. get atleast a 2600k or anything higher.

let us know which software are you going to use. if your gonna use 3ds max then stick to any decent gaming gpu

If you can sacrifice on over-clocking, go for this configuration --

Intel Core i7 2600 ~16500/- + Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO ~2400/- [to keep this processor cool @24 x7 operations]

Intel DH67-BL ~5400/-

G.Skill RIPJAWS 4GB x2 ~3400/-

AMD HD 7850 2GB ~17500/- [the AMD HD 7870 is out but priced ~22500/-] OR nVidia Quadro FX600 ~9000/- [if you do not want to game]

Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 500GB ~4000/-

Seasonic S12II 620W ~4600/-

NZXT Gamma ~2400/-

Dell Ultrasharp U2312M ~14500/-

Logitech multimedia combo ~700/-

Hope this helps, Cheers!!

that is spending way too much amount on the gpu. i rather spend around 8-10k max on gpu and spend the remaining money on a 2600k and a better mobo

True but let us see what OP has in mind, getting a GTX 560 [non-Ti] will be his choice completely also the way he has put the information I am confused as to what components he has and what he plans to acquire.

Speaking of that op hasn't replied in a while, lets see on that.

decided to keep my E2200HD & so far ..............
  • MOBO - ASUS P8Z68-V PRO GEN3 - 14,500/-
  • CPU - Intel Core i7 2600k - 16,850/-
  • RAM - GSkill 1600MHz 4GB x 2 - 3,150/-
  • PSU - Corsair TX V2 650W - 5,000/-
  • MISC - CoolerMaster Hyper 212 EVO - 2,269/-
  • GPU - nVidia Quadro FX600 - 9000/-

some more input needed on the GPU before I finalize ................

Yes the gpu you've chosen is correct but beware that you won't be able to game with this one, everything else is fine and do get nzxt gamma as suggested.

Your answers as you asked them --

1) If you are over-clocking definitely, if not over-clocking then you can sit on a stock cooler. But be wary the stock Intel cooler is pure bunkum so it is suggested that you go for at-least a Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO.

2) Mostly yes, any graphics intensive component, e.g. AUTODESK MAYA view-port might lag a little but it will function properly. Also if you add the HD 4350 for now it will greatly aid in such situations and as you are not gaming it comes quite handy for productivity tasks.

3) No the Corsair TX V2650W should take all this in a stride but, in-case you plan to add more hard-drives down the line I urge you get a Corsair TX V2750W ~6800/-.

4) Yes the card will work perfectly fine with the current configuration and you can use it as a stand in till you buy a new graphics card.

Hope this clarifies, Cheerio!!

Thanks Alpha17,

I will not overclock anything, but will go for Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO as u suggested.

Don't think i will go for additional HDD's but since i plan for GPU upgrade later on, i will squeeze for
Corsair TX V2750W.

Which GPU do you plan to add? Because under current circumstances the Corsair TX V2 650W will do fine even if you add a graphics card later [up-to a GTX 670].

It is only if you plan to add more than ~6 hard-drives + optical drive then the latter will start feeling short-handed.

Hope this helps, Cheerio!!
Looks like Corsair TX V2 650W will be suffice then?

Perfectly fine then Sire, hope you get the RIG up and running soon. Cheerio!!

GeForce GTX 670 is too much, i will either go for XFX Radeon HD 6790 or Leadtek NVIDIA Quadro 600 or something similar, any suggestions ???

Looks like Corsair TX V2 650W will be suffice then ???

no more additional HDD's, even if i go for then will be external.

If you don't go for above HD6790 then TX650V2 will suffice,Also don't add more HDD's on it as it could put more pressure on PSU.
