Hi,

I recently bought a new GPU: a Zotac GTX 1660ti, and facing underwhelming to poor performance in some games.

Here is my current system configuration:
  • CPU: AMD FX 8350
  • Motherboard: MSI 990FXA - Gaming
  • RAM: Kingston Hyper X Fury DDR 3 8 GB x 2
  • GPU: mentioned above
  • HDD Seagate Barracuda 1TB
  • SSD: Kingston 250 GB
  • PSU: Corsair 650 w
 
You cpu is causing the bottleneck, you should had upgraded that as well.

It really depends on how bad the performance is. I had a i3 3220 a couple of months ago, before I upgraded to 1600 AF . Gaming did improve a lot, but mostly noticeable with minimum FPS. Besides sharing FPS is quite easy ;)
 
He already said poor so what decency you expect in that poor performance again? By poor he might even mean pathetic.
