PC Upgrade - Please suggest - budget 30k

Currently i have two PCs

My dad wants a pc for learning and movies. So i planned to give him the pentium D pc and upgrade the core 2 duo

Here is my plan. Please suggest me the components. My total budget is 30k. Not urgent may be buying one by one for next two months

I am not filling the template, because the requirement is mixed for 3 PCs

PC1

Usage - gaming, HD movies, photo editing

CPU - i am going to OC in the future

Motherboard - Should support crossfire for 6850, usb 3.0 required, 7.1 good audio

RAM - 8gb

PC2

Usage - Surfing, interactive cd/dvd for my kid

Monitor for PC2

I want a 24" TN panel for dual setup with PC1(asus PA238Q) and used for gaming.

PC3

Usage - watching movies and photos. Learning computers for my dad

I dont want spend much on these so PSU+Case max budget is 2k

Please suggest me if you have any alteration

Hyper 212 Evo for 2K from SMC international

Asus P8Z68-M PRO for 9,875 From SMC International or Asus P8P67-M PRO B3 for 10,275 with better overclocking options From SMC International

Corsair XMS3 4GB 1600Mhz 2x2 for 1,650 if you want 8GB then get two more total = 3300

I think Hyper 212 EVO is better than 212+.

and zebronics cases are crap this is better Cooler MasterElite 343 for 1,750

or

Cooler Master Elite 310 Cabinet with side window for 1,950.

If op is ready to spend 2k on the case for his pentium d rig he might as well get nzxt gamma or source 210-2.2k and zebronics bijli is not a crap by long shot many guys here are using it,hyper 212 evo is a good option.

Bijli is not crap I must say, it was 1150/- 1 year ago and it was really worth at that price... I had done a lot of modifications to it...

Just FYI, you can enquire about pricing for Bijli 2

OP is ready to spend 2K on PSU+Cabby and not on Cabby itself

, I agree Gamma and source are also the options, only if OP decides to up the budget...

Oops...i need the CPU also for PC1 within the budget. I was thinking for i5 2500k. is it fit in my budget? any other suggestion

For mobo gigabyte/asus/msi which is better

Monitor is ST2410 any other alternative with little cheaper around 10k. Is benq is good?

for pc3 i need a good psu...because my home town there are more power cuts and fluctuations. If i get FSP saga 350w and any 400/450rs case is fine? Is good case really matters?

One more question...what about the Intex 1.1kva UPS - 1.1k? Is it reliable?

I already have two APC(500va & 550va). i am giving one for my dad. So for my PC1 i need the UPS(this is not included in budget)

You have literally added a ~11K component now in your budget .. Every consideration for PC1 needs to be changed now ...

You had mentioned you had an i5

Anyways, just tell me are you planning to overclock PC1??? If not we can suggest some best components in your budget...

Yes Benq monitors are good, if tight on budget Benq G2420HD ~ 10.7K is also a good option

For PC3, Yes you can go with FSP saga 400/Gigabyte superb 460 + any generic cabby... Actually the design or other features of cabby hardly matter since PC3 is not going to generate a lot of heat. Even the generic cabby now-a-days have 2 or 3 80/90mm fans included. For fluctuations and power cut outs, no PSU can help you. You need a UPS and a surge protector (FYI : UPS should be connected directly to mains and not to a surge protector)

Ok. I can stay with FSP and cheaper case. This PC3 is going to use rarely.

Benq G2420 ~ 10.9K

Gskill Ripjaws X 2x4gb 1600mhz ~ 3.2K

CM Hyper 212 EVO ~ 2K

These components are suggested acc to your requirement. The H67 mobos run crossfire/sli on x16 and x4.. So havent suggested them.

dude mobo prices have increased.. maximus IV gene-z is around 14.5k and ud4 around 14k

rupee is depreciating day by day

So now remaining is CPU, MOBO and RAM

CPU - Intel i5 2500k - 12.5k
CPU Cooler - CM Hyper 212 EVO - 2.2k
Please suggest the MOBO

Asus P8Z68 V-PRO or Asus P8Z68 V-PRO/GEN3 - ~13k

or MSI equallent to asus
or Gigabyte equallent to asus

RAM
Gskill ripjaw 1600mhz 2x4gb - 3k or 2x8gb - ?

The more you wait the more the chances of the rupee depriciating further. However, if you are ready to wait for 8~10 months then it is a different matter.

Agree. So that i bought few items today and confused with MOBO and came here for suggestion. Next week i will buy the remaining.
