Monitors PCI TV Tuner for 24inch HD LCD

Please suggest all the best options available for a PCI Internal TV Tuner card for a 24" LCD HD monitor

Picture quality should be very good, recording is secondary and just a bonus, not a big deal

Should support native HD resolution 1920*1080

Budget - 1000 to 3000

Willing to spend even a little more, if required
 
If recording is secondary den go for a external tuner card......
Benefits:
No need to switch full pc while watching tv... huge power saving (ur corsair tx650 is free)
Better pic quality as interfernce from electronic components inside the PC will be absent....
Suggestion Avertv Box genie for 1500/-
Averv box W7 for around 3000/-. Supports resolution up to 1920*1200.

Having an external means, i got to swap the monitor video cable everytime i switch between PC and TV naa

no you don't have to swap monitor cable.
the vga cable from you pc go into the tuner box and the monitor cable go into the tuner you power on the tuner you watch tv you switch it of you can use pc no need to swap anything

this is the best setup if you dont want to record etc from tv source.
good for only viewing.and you dont have to keep your PC ON for only viewing TV.

and I am sorry I cannot recommend you any specific product.

I didnt know that, need to try that with my techchom LCD tv tuner box.
 
you dont need to swap cables with new USB based TV Tuners.

the tuner handles multiple inputs :)

also you can view the TV within windows incase you like to record.

pc need not be alive while watching TV directly.
