Laptops performance diff betn t7250 and t8300

is there ssignificant diff betn t7250 and t8300 proccs.my friend is buying a dell xps1330 from usa with 3gb ram,8400gs,160gbhdd(7200rpm).
since he has added quite a lot of accessories and wants a sub 2000$ laptop will the proceessor change make any significant change in performance.
he's a doctor and will mainly use laptop for surfing and some word and powerpoint presentations.maybe a little movie viewing(if he can find the time:( )
 
No there wont be any significant difference in performance specially for that kind of usage but power consumption of the T8300 should be significantly lower because of its 45nm architechture , but since your friend wouldnt do any CPU intensive work , sticking with T7250 would be fine
