phone suggestion

am looking for a music phone for around 7k.other features dont matter much.it should preferably not be a flip-phone. any suggestions?
 
since music was a priority, i was thinking of the 5300.anyone used this? i can stretch the budget by max 1k, though even then no decent WALKMAN phone falls in the budget.
 
the only candybar walkman tht falls in tht range is W200...if ur priority is mainly music, then its not a bad phone to have...if u can go upto 8k, then get the K750i..its the best deal around 8k...then just reflash it with w800 FW, and u have a very good walkman phone for the price..:D

As for the 5300, if u are staying away from the flip phones, then i'd say u stay away from this slider as well...its not very durable...

There are a lot of good phones in the 8k range...i'd suggest u to check out 6233 as well...its a very capable phone with a good cam, good music quality, the best loudspeakers and a very good screen...My suggestion..go with the 6233...;)
 
the W200 doesnt have Bluetooth, and thats a big minus. a couple of my friends had the k750i, and they had serious issues with the joystick.
 
Yeah basically any decent phone with nice headphones will give good sound. I have a W810 too and really with EP630 my 6300 sounds much better then W810 or my Ipod.

That what I like basically but yes if you play on loudspeaker 6300 is no good. But who would be commuting in a train/bus with loudspeaker of cell on... looks chepos.
 
Well, no offense but i feel 6233 is overall much better product than the 6300...the cam module is better than the 6300 as it takes better, more natural pics (as already compared at many review sites)...

6233 allows very good quality vga video recording...the 6300 only manages qcif resolution video recording...

6233 has awesome loudspeakers comparable only with the n73!! N though u may not use loudspeakers in trains n buses, as i agree, it looks cheapo, better loudspeakers mean, u do not miss a call in any circumstances!!

And finally, 6233's battery back up is very very good as it comes with a 1100 mah battery while the 6300 has only a 860 mah battery!! Battery back up is the biggest issue with the 6300...!

Rest, both the phones are identical s40s....ohh n i forgot, 6233 is 3g while the 6300 is not...:P Though tht hardly matters, but the above points definitely go in favor of the 6233...
 
I dont understand why r u so interested in the 5500..its got a smallish screen with a res of 208x208 px...the feature set is just about okay and the 860mah battery is a bummer....the 6233 may not be symbian, but apart from tht it owns the 5500 easily..
 
well 6300 certainly looks mucha better imho then 6233......

anywayz other option might be se w300i, se w700i and moto l9 if in budget
 
W300i is flip,W700i and L9 are out of budget. and it seems the 5500 isnt too great a phone. so i need a comparison between the 6233,6300 and 5300 as to which is the best.
 
Well, i've already given a small comparo between the 6233 and the 6300 in the first page of this thread...so u can decide for urself..as for the 5300, it is a good phone, only thing is u'll be getting an inferior 1.3mp cam, and the slider is not rock solid..many ppl hav had issues with the loose slider..as a music player its good but the loudspeakers stand no chance against the 6233 or the n73...so now u decide..;)
