Phones To Get From US

Hey Guys,

I am coming from Galaxy S and Moto Defy. My relatives are coming to india in July and I can buy a phone and get it shipped to them.


Budget is 25-30K

Android/iOS depending on price. Whatever it is, I need it FU.

From what I understand, Galaxy Nexus is a good buy. What else is available? Are the prices for Galaxy Note the same as they are in India?

Bcs I couldnt find a good deal. But yes I will wait to see if there is a good deal when it launches. Love the Kevlar body and the extra large battery does appeal to me.

I dont mind extending my budget, that One S looks great. Specially if the prices drops in the next one month or so.

Do these phones have International warranty?

None of the phones from the US have intl' warranty.If you want peace of mind go for the Note @30k approx or wait a month or so for the One S to release in India.Will be around 28K or so(I hope).I myself am waiting for the RAZR HD(720p AMOLED screen ,qualcomm snapdragon S4@1.5 GHz possibly and a massive 3300mAh Battery)If the RAZR HD is late or not upto the mark I will go for One S then.

In terms of performance the One S trades shots with quadcore phones like the One X and S3.Only downsides to the One S are small iremovable battery(1700mAh I guess) and non expandable memory.

100-150$ Samsung Focus

150-225$ Samsung focus Flash, Pantech Burst(insanely fast)

225-300$ Photon 4G, Atrix2

300-400$ iphone 4, Htc rezound (GSM a bit iffy), NITRO-HD (Gorgeous display), Galaxy nexus,

$400- infinity 4s,One S and one X
