Video Plasma or LCD

I am planning for a Plasma for quite sometime but kind of confused choosing between the Panasonic PV80 and the recent 40 inch models in LCD's from Samsung and Sony.Please suggest.My purpose is mainly watching HD and the usual dvd movies.

Simple answer:

if movies is the priority, close ur eyes n get the PV80.

This is a oft chewed topic around here, and i was not the person to comment on this, however i extensively auditioned the plasmas over this weekend as well as a lot of LCDs and have given the aforementioned answer. For the best go and get urself a demo, u're eyes won't lie to you.
