Hey guys,

I was planning to purchase ps3 slim, is anyone else interested ?

I'll be getting it through kmd only.

what you guys say which is the best place to get ?

i've thought to buy it from newegg.com ..

and if anyone else interested too, let me know from where he's planning to buy.

Buy the fat one with indian warranty. you be paying the same amount anyways.

Or get the upcoming 250GB bundle.

its slim, thatswhy i wanna buy or else I was happy with my xbox 360 and ati 4850..

secondly why do we need so much space on ps3 ? how is it useful ? I usually play movies/music/games directly from my computer via hdmi.
 
No no ... was talking abt which one is better deal. the 250GB bundle is the GT5P bundle. :P

If slim is the keyword, the slim only make you happy.

I would buy game alag se... why do v need tht big hdd in ps3 ?
 
For some... PSN games..Trailers...the sorts.. and some game install if it needed.... anyways hdd is upgradable...

still the current 20k, Ps3 with 2 games is mega win.
 
No international warranty and a price >20k shipped (300USD = more than 21k KMD INR?) makes it not worth the price. I suggest you wait and grab the console when it hits the Indian shores in a month. Besides I suppose US consoles are NTSC whereas the ones in the middle-east and asia-pacific are PAL?

Just dont lol when u dnt knw jackshit .. The movies are not region free like most of the games .. Hence it would be advantageous if u got urself the US version as most of the Blu rays are released in that region ..

Actually, not to be pedantic or anything, but a high percentage of Blu-Rays are region-free. Notable exceptions being anything from the Sony Movies stable.
 
They do own a huge ass catalog... So movie lovers like NTSC ofcourse.

And another thing is release dates. NTSC ones come out early or something. Dunno if that's out of question now.
 
Doesnt make sense to but that PS3 and get it shipped to india. you will be paying for that weight.

It makes more sense to buy after a month from India, with warranty !!
 
i saw PS3 slim in a shop in bangalore.. is it released in india already!!!

that shop sells all genuine stuff...that is what surprises me...

Wow that's early! Probably an import? Not sure but I thought the SCE India MD (or CEO or whoever he's) said it's slated for launch after the Diwali, the very next day the price cuts and the slim PS3 was announced.
