Hi,
I am using Airtel broadband over my home PC (Windows XP SP3). My modem is BEETEL 220BX which is connected through bridge mode to my router Linksys WRT54GS. Since its on bridged mode, PPPOE dialing is done by router. Router has DHCP disabled. I have given static IP 192.168.1.2 to my PC which has a wired connection to my router. 'VPN Passthrough' is enabled in router.
My problem is that when I try to connect to a VPN Server I get a 800 error (I tried PPTP dialing using Windows only). I am able to ping VPN server but not connect to it. Enabling/disabling uPnP on router made no difference. I tried IPSec (TCP & UDP) through OpenVPN, but that didn't work either.
I do not use Windows firewall and instead use KIS (Kaspersky Internet Security) 2009 as Antivirus + Firewall. Some googled internet posts suggested disabling monitoring of SSL (443) port in KIS but that didn't make any difference either.
Please help me here.
Thanks!
