Please help my mail Box is choked

I have sancharnet POP E-mail vksood@sancharnet.in.
My this email is flooded with unwanted Email (atleast 100-125 oer day ) from spammers trying to sell me Viagra, Enhancement drugs, Fake Watches or fix me with imaginary girls!! It is becoming more than headache. I have tried to block senders in Outlook express, but the volume of this kinda mail just keeps getting larger. How to stop this- Need help !!!
 
If you're using MS Outlook to pop email, I'd recommend a plugin like spam bayes or spam butcher. Ideally, your ISP does something to control spam but I wouldn't count on them.
 
Shift to GMail :P.

Period. Till date for me, only 2 Spam mails have gotten thru from the Spam folder to my Inbox.

A piece of advice, stop giving your email id in forums. It only adds to your problems ;)
 
Use an email filter like MailWasher Pro to delete the spam directly of your mail server. You can create a blacklist in Mailwasher for all spam. At least you won't be getting possible viruses in OE.
 
If you're going to change your email, move to gmail. I have 5 domain emails integrated into it and NO SPAM. Plus, I use hotmail and yahoo for registering on dumba$$ sites that ask for email id - that's what yahoo and hotmail are good for though, getting spammed.
 
@Aditya: i get 300+ spam males on gmail and the spam protection is bad.. and ive stopped using a/c as i saw 4000+mails acumilatin on my gmail id.. this sux, dono what to do. cant even delete cause it will take 40 pages to delete and dont hav much time

OT : U need to have control over the sites you visit and register :P

Thanks man ! Downloaded & installed mailwasher pro , it is great help, I delete spam now from the mail server itself. Spam comes, but now I M able to manage it better.
