hi guys.

well i am having a problem.

by mistake i installed 'microsoft client server' and 'microsoft network sharing' something like that by network connections>lan> right click> properties.

later the 'shut down' of the system changed to this.No 'log out' option.

whenever i used to open my system i would get some network setting message also.
therefore i uninstalled both.

that network policy (something like that) setting option at srtart up before windows is now gone.

But the shutdown process is still the same.

please help is there any way to make the 'shutdown' option normal(default) like before

if u are running on xp pro, try this....

> Start

> Run

> gpedit.msc

> User Config

> Admin Templates

> Start Menu and Taskbar

on the right window > "Add Logoff to the Start Menu" >Enable

> Reboot

^^well by doing that i would still get that last box.
anyways thanks for the reply.well it seems i figured it out myself by doing this Start>> Control Panel
Click User Accounts
Click "Change the way users log on or off".
