Please suggest a cheap and best wifi router for WDS

Hello Guys

Have been using the TPLINK 3420 in WDS mode for my Sony ex65 and every once in 3 days I have to re-configure the device as it gives APIPA address. Dont know if there is something wrong with the router or this model suffers from WDS issues.

Hence kindly suggest a cheap and best router probably in TPLINK as the WDS function will work fine with the TPLINK 1043nd which provides the WAN service.

Thanx, but what about warranty and ASS. Havent heard about this brand but the reviews are OK. Is the WDS function working fine ?. because that will be the primary purpose of buying it.

WDS may be incompatible between different products (even occasionally from the same vendor) since the IEEE 802.11-1999 standard does not define how to construct any such implementations

In order to use WDS, one should use the same hardware and software on all deployed wireless devices to maintain compatibility.

Flash your MR3420 to OpenWRT and use the wireless "client" mode. Or if you absolutely must use WDS, then get another 1043nd.
