Laptops Pleasent surprise... and mystery too

Well we finally went NP to get:

Compaq C772TU

Intel Dual Core 1.73 Ghz

2 GB RAM

160 GB HD

DVD-RW

15.4 WXGA TFT

But this laptop was not available anywhere. Tried at least 15 shops including all major ones. But apparently it has been phased out by HP/Compaq.

So my friend finally got this one:

ACER 4720-Z

Intel Dual core 1.6 Ghz

2 GB RAM

160 GB HD

DVD-RW

14.1 WXGA TFT

Cost Rs 29,250

But there was a surprise in the package. While box said the lappy has T2330 rated @ 1.66Ghz and even sticker on lappy noted the same processor, Bios and Windows show CPU to be T2370 rated @ 1.73Ghz.

Why is it so? Are there too many T2370s on Acer's hands that it is disposing off at the cost of T2330?

aah its nutng new ...happened witha frnds Hp desktop...pays for a Pentium D gets a core 2 duo...a year ago incident but still dere...
