hi frnds.. I have built an home server yesterday.. Installed WHS to it.. In whs, to use remote access we should configure our router.. according to this tutorial, we should open port 80, port 443 and port 4125 to be able to remote access whs..
I use beetel 110tc1 modem that came with airtel broadband connection.. When i tried to forward the above said ports from modem settings page (Advanced Setup -> NAT -> Virtual Server) , i get "ERROR FAIL TO UPDATE DUE TO... DUPLICATE PORT NUMBER!".. but when i tried the same from my office where we use the same modem, it gets saved.. but when i check if the ports are correctly forwarded from https://www.grc.com/x/portprobe=, it shows not forwarded:S...
can some one help me out with this? i just wanna forward ports 80,443 n 4125.. i guess this are ports that's forwarded for web hosting...
