I am on B-Max1000 plan.
Whenever I download content from private tracker or upload, I am listed as not connected on the tracker.
Also my utorrent reports that port is not forwarded.

There is no router / modem provided for connection, all I get is a networkcable direct to my laptop.

I called the customer support to allow my utorrent port on admin console firewall. They say that there is no such firewall blocking thing (rather they dont understand what I am saying). Also they are not ready to give me the console access etc.

Anyone using beamcable (or similar ISP) experiencing same problem / overcame this issue ? Please share your thoughts on fixing this.

I'm using Beam cable but I'm not facing any problem using utorrent....try bittorrent or frostwire and see if problem is rectified....

did you check the firewall? I use beam cable along with router. I was able to configure the port forwarding easily.

It is a firewall issue. I am using KIS 2009 and I learnt that the stealth mode has to be switched off in firewall settings.

Now Port is getting forwarded properly touchwood.
