Possible good deal on Refurbished Kindle/s @ $149

The refurbished option is gone for the 1st gen Kindle.Not really much of a fan of this to be frank,there are several reports of non functioning kindles and broken screens in both the Kindle 1 and 2,
amazon isn't particularly known for its high manufacturing standards.
I'm am however interested in prs-300, which easily beats the kindle hands down ,retails at $199.
With KMDs Diwali offer we could get it down to around 10k if we're lucky.
 
guys better wait coz there are lot of companies eyeing this segment.disadvantage of sony is that few file formats are supported.since we are in india i do not know how we can access their book stores.the most promising of the lot is a company called plastic logic but their product is not out maybe next year.samsung is coming out with papyrus.so also are some chinese companies.my wish is that some chinese companies should start making clones of these like the iphone then the prices will drastically come down like the touch phones.just my 2 cents.
