Post office mistakenly marked parcel delivered

Hi
I had bought a mobile from ebay.com. it seems the seller was fraud and he had written incorrect name & address on the parcel. Mistakenly the post office people marked the parcel delivered whereas it has been sent back (as per post office guy). Anyone who could guide me what action should I take to get my money back. There is little hope but there are few things in my favour but ebay support people say as the parcel shows delivered nothing can be done.
1) Seller doesn't respond
2) There are 4 similar claims against seller back to back.
3) All the parcel except mine are not delivered.
If anyone could guide me as to what can be done would be great.

Go to the concerned post office, explain the situation to the post master (do not speak to the lower level staff) and ask for a written statement which you can send to ebay and open a dispute.

Dispute is already opened.
Ebay support people say as the letter cannot be verified it cannot be taken into consideration. Will be visiting the post office today.
