Hot daam. the graphics look better than - dare I say it - Crysis :p

No, that's a wild exaggeration :p

I just beat COJ2. Enjoyed it much more than FEAR 2. Better story, better graphics, better soundtrack. The gameplay is standard FPS fare, except for the concentration mode, which is not as awesome as the bullet-time in FEAR, but interesting nonetheless. The only qualms I had with this game were the short playtime (7 hours approx.) and the clunky cover system.

The game ran pretty well on all high settings. I didn't have any issues with stability either, with the game crashing only once during the entire play time. There have been reports of this game having issues with the ATI 4xxx series cards, so you might want to check some feedback before buying/downloading this game :p

Did you go full HD spindoctor? Why the jaggies?

I'm yet to complete the demo. Didn't get time due to work, but for the limited time that I played it for it's been amazing. The level design & soundtrack is fantastic. Not to mention the characters & the storyline. :)

Playing the game on a 4850 with the latest Catalyst on XP MCE. No crashes till now (Touchwood :p). The game is really good except for the screwed HDR effects  Dont know if its coz of the way ATi cards render it but it hurts my eyes !!

i'm not sure why the jaggies are left. there's something wrong with the implementation of aa in the game. this screen was taken with 4x aa (the maximum) enabled in the launcher... other than this i have tried forcing various modes of msaa, ssaa and combined aa from nhancer but it just doesn't do it too well. i read on r3d that the ingame aa is an implementation of ssaa but not too sure about that.

as for the game itself, it is lovely to say the least. amazing graphics, great use of physx, awesome music... a very 'fairytale' feel to the entire experience. however, i've come across a game breaking bug in it which is preventing me from playing it. i've posted in the devs forums, hopefully they will be able to fix it in a patch.

Arma II is out, and it looks spectacular!

Crysis-killer, anyone? :p

Maybe an exaggeration. But the graphics are fantastic. The vehicle models are definitely better than Crysis. The leaves and foliage are not as detailed as Crysis, but pretty good nonetheless.

I'm running the game on Very High settings and the game is just barely playable (20-30 fps). The gameplay is ultra-realistic, which basically means if you take a bullet, you die. So no rushing in like a one-man-army, COD4 style

Hi Guys,

Just one request. Can everyone type the entire name of the game of which they are posting SS, because this helps us search for the game by copying and pasting the title others type.

LEFT 4 DEAD

Couldn't play it online because of no steam. The offline gameplay is little fun, the boring part is that the zombies dress and behave exactly the same in every single level.

Call of Juarez - Bound in Blood

After so many days and leeching from so many wifi's, i finally D/led it 100% on my 5800 :p .. played the initial few minutes ... the gfx are awesome ...even better than the previous one .. the aim down the sight mode still has a crosshair making it a little less that a realistic shooting engine ... UBIsoft has a lot of sweet looking + less demanding games under its banner , this is one more to that list :) ... here are a few screens :

Finally, My all time favorite ! A game I still play after having completed it years back...

Its simply beautiful !! But needs a powerful rig once you crank setting up towards max. The max height view is awesome and drops fps crazily :p

this game is so freaking beautiful... it's truly a labor of love. if only they hadn't tainted it with the crap drm it has :(

fraps showed that i had 35-45fps at 1080p with all settings at the highest. it felt like less but it was very playable. i have also not applied the nvidia sli patch that came out a couple of days ago that specifically adds sli support for this game, so i'm pretty happy with what a single gpu can do here.

edit - as it turns out, that screenshot was in dx10. this game has a very weird way of picking between dx9 and dx10.... dx10 gets enabled if you choose transparency aa in the settings. no proper switch for it. i dropped down to dx9 and got a 20fps boost without any noticeable difference in image quality. now i get 50fps zoomed out and 65 zoomed in, although it results in some flickering on the monitor. enabling vsync lowers the performance a bit but it gets rid of the flickering which is just fine by me... the game looks gorgeous either way. and the nvidia sli patch is worthless :p... made no difference at all to the fps. i can only imagine that sli was enabled even without a separate profile for it.

Is it an improvement over Anno 1701? Is the gameplay still the same?

haven't played it enough to be able to tell. the reviews seem to say that it plays a lot like the normal anno games, which can either be a good thing or a bad thing, depending on how you look at it.
