The box contain almost all the required details. For those are used to see the normal zebronics smps, you are in for a surprise over here as soon as you see the box. The quality of the box coupled with the detailed specification and graphics is neat.

Contents :

Once you open the box you are presented with the smps wrapped around in a bubble wrap, a Power cord and few screws. Just the basic required items.

[BREAK=The Product]

External

The quality of this smps is far better than the basic smps from the zebronics. It is pretty good. Only the ATX cable is sleeved and this is a non-modular psu.

Inside

The inside of this power supply looks neat. This comes with Triple 12V Rails rated @ 24A each. The peakout out of the 12V rail is 576w. The Caps used are from "Capxon". The fan used is the Yate Loon 120mm (Model : D12SH-12), rpm rated @ 2200 +/- 10% , 88cfm. The fans is doing a very good job at keeping the noise down and at the same time offering good cooling to the components.

[BREAK=Conclusion]

Conclusion:

This seems to be a good quality product from zebronics. I wasn't able to review this product due to the lack of equipements. OEM of this power supply is HEC and the model is HEC-600TN-2WX . Finally the price of this smps is Rs.3700/- and it comes with 3 years warranty from Top Notch Infotronix.

Finally a quality PSU (except for the tacky blue fan) from Zebby but at a PRICE !

Zebby used to have a really good premium PSU which was being recommended here in TE during late 2005 till early 2006 till Antec NEO HE 500 came into the picture. But considering the competition atm this smps is priced tad bit higher.

Here are the price list of their other Pro Series range of smps

PRO-500------2850/-

PRO-600-----3700/-

PRO-350-----1850/-

PRO-550------3200/-

PRO-E750----6900/-

PRO-M500----3500/-

PRO-M600----4400/-

PRO-M800----9000/-

I got one of their Pro Series cabinet also , Hornet. Will check it out and post another mini review by this weekend.

Assuming the Pro 350 is also an HEC OEM (looking at the ratings, they match) and assuming it puts out its rated power.. then for 1.8k, it should be a decent buy for those on a sub-2k budget :D

Are these really 80% efficient.... :S

I picked up one of these from Delta in Ritchie a couple of days back.. Running the browsing rig at my parents place.

Ultra silent. Touted 80+. (No UL number info available to verify.)

Paid 1490/- for it.

^ The Pro 350 has 23A (total) on the +12V rail. I'd say it would be pushing it a little, but the rest of your config looks light.

But Pro 350 has dual rail 12v with 19Amps on each.... I seriously doubt the total output of 12v rail though... :S

I don't know what to say? :S
As per specs chart sticker on the 350W,

On one hand, this supposedly 80+ psu claims 19A on each 12v rail (seems so out of sync wrt overall rating).

On the other hand, it states just 276W available on the 12v rail (which is not soout of sync consiidering the overall rating after sparing some room for 3.3v and 5V).
