Man. One unrelated question. How did you managed the thermals.
On stock cooler i can't even run the cinebench leave out oc, even idle temps are very high like 60-64. On aio it runs fine with idle temps going down to low of 40's but on cinebench goes till 85-90. But can't oc on aio also. Can't seem to find anything on it.
Using b450m steel legend. Was same on b450 tomahawk also.

Its not normal cpu cooler it has copper plate and 3 copper heat pipes

OT:
Doesn't seem right. Either a bad mount or very cheap/bad quality paste. I also run a 2700X (with PBO) so it's 105W+ TDP on prism cooler. Idles in 50s and max temp reached is 86-87C @ 4Ghz all cores (ambient 30C)

Already tried that.. I use noctua...earlier i had 2700...this 2700x i got as rma...2700 was very good at thermals even at full load on air cooler never went above 80c

I used to run that 2700 at 4ghz without issue or high temps and same noctua paste. This f****r doesn't cooperates. Have even used silver arctic paste also. Are there any bios settings that i need to tinker with.

Turn of PBO in Bios.had similar problem after reading articles on some sites found turning off PBO will resolve problem.my 3800x remains at 45,47 idle with stock cooler and 70 under load still goes to 4500 mhz without any problem

I think my mobo might be bad....i swapped the processor to gigabyte b550 and it works a charm that too on air cooler(after market) with idle temps hovering 38-45. But that asrock mobo is now restarting continuously and not even giving screen.
Now need to find that asrock service center in nehru place. If anyone has address or contact details then let me know asap.
 
@shallg Send me the product on 29th and I received it today 3-4hrs ago.

I haven't opened it yet. I am busy with something else. Will check it tomorrow and will update you with the status.
 
I am so sorry for the late response, As my motherboard had a courier issue and just got it today. I tested the CPU and everything works perfectly.
