Monitors problem in monitor?

i judst shifted to another building ... now i switched my comp on.. and monitor is flickering.... why is this flickering??? i hav UPS connected.. plz reply
 
First check all your connections.Do you face any voltage fluctuation?

Else,try to connect it to another comp and check if the same problem occurs.
 
Make sure there are no sources of Magnetic/ Electric fields in the vicinity of the monitor. It can even be caused due to Mobile phones/ Wireless phones . Also make sure your refresh rate is not too low. Normally 70Hz should be enough.
