Problems with new Spice mi 270

Guys I purchased a Spice mi 270 phone from flipkart.com And got delivered by Bluedart today but I found that earpiece of that phone is not working ( right out of the box brand new phone ) means there is no incoming sound of other person from other end.

Now I don't want get it repaired so can I claim fresh piece as replacement or I have no other choice but get it repaired. Please help me.

Brand new piece...Go to spice service centre...They will give u a DOA certificate...
 
I think within the initial few days of purchase (maybe a weeks time) .. you should be able to get a brand new piece.. irrespective of where you bought the mobile from.
 
m having network issues with this phone.

just to be sure that its a problem with the phone.

I kept my spice Mi 270 next to my friends Nokia N79(Both having BSNL sim cards) and the spice Mi 270 shows only 2 bars of signal strength while the nokia n79 shows all bars..

tried it again with Reliance SIM cards.

The Spice Mi 270 shows not network coverage while nokia N79 has 2 bars of signal strength and best part is I can make calls n receive calls with N79 while spice Mi270 cannot even connect.
 
lol , thats an entirely different issue mate , Nokia's are known for their legendary call quality and signal holding capabilities.

Take your phone to the service center and in all probability you will get a brand new piece.
