I think its upgrade time and i need your help in deciding components to buy. The answers to questionnaire are below:

Q: What is your budget?
20-25K


Q: What is your existing hardware configuration (component name - component brand and model)

Kingston 2GB 800 Mhz x 2
Gigabyte HD5770 1GB

Q: Which hardware component are you looking to buy (component name). If you have already decided on a configuration then please mention the (component brand and model) as well, this will help us in fine tuning your requirement.
1. Processor - Preferably Intel Ivy bridge, more cores the better, Should support Hardware virtualization
2. Motherboard - Motherboard supporting atleast 16GB memory, coaxial SPDIF out external header preferable.
3. RAM - 16 GB


Q: Is this going to be your final configuration or you would be adding/upgrading a component in near future. If yes then please mention when and which component

PrimeABGB most probably. I dont mind calling them/other sellers is the component is not listed on their site.




Q: Would you consider buying a second hand hardware from the TE market
Yes. if in warranty


Q: What is your intended use for this PC/hardware
Compiling/Virtual Machine/downloading/Gaming/sound editing


Q: Do you have any brand preference or dislike? Please name them and the reason for your preference/dislike.
Prefer brands which have good RMA process


Q: If you will be playing games then which type of games will you be playing?
FPS, racing, simulators


Q: What is your preferred monitor resolution for gaming and normal usage
LCD - 1366x768


Q: Are you looking to overclock?
If possible in this budget


Q: Which operating system do you intend to use with this configuration?
Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit
 
@vaibhavyagnik here is what I suggest --

Intel Core i5 3550 ~13000/-
GIGABYTE-B75M-D3H ~4500/- OR ASUS P8H77-M PRO ~9500/-
Corsair Vengeance 4GB x4 1600MHz RAM ~5800/-

Over-clocking is not possible under your given budget.

For gaming
i5 3570k - 14.3k
Asrock z77 pro 3 - 7.7k
2x4gb Corsair vengeance 1600 - 2750
If 8gb is not enough u can update later.....
If u r using ur PC only for virtualization apps like VMware, then 8 core amd cpu fx 8350 might be better....
