Here is an blog that advices what to look for when buying a Tablet:
9 Things to Look For in a Tablet PC - Support.com
I will use this as my reference to highlight my preference:
Brands Preferred - Apple, Samsung and HTC (In that order)
1) Display size - To me personally, I am happy with 7 inches as I find 10 inches or more to be a bit of a hassle to carry around.
2) Interface - I prefer an LCD Capactive touch screen with 800X1280 resolution. Having a multitouch interface is important to me for gaming.
3) Operating System and Apps Availability - This is most important for me as I tend to use my Tablet as my laptop. So currently Apple seems to have an excellent operating system and Apps. While Android is very quickly catching up.
4) Adobe Flash - It is important for me since as mentioned, I like to watch videos online.
5) Storage capacity - I personally expect the Tablet to have atleast 32gb or 64gb for carrying around videos, music, office documents etc
6) Built-in-Camera - I am keen on having a back camera as I am not going to use it as my primary camera. But a decent 2 MP camera in the front is important as I will be using it for video calling
7) Networking - WiFi and 3g/4g is important for me to be online anytime and anywhere to be in touch.
8) I/O Ports - As it says on the blog I look for "at least two USB ports, one HDMI port, microSD card slot and a 3.5-mm stereo headphone jack"
9) Battery Life - I expect Tablet's battery life to be decent.
Prices I expect - While more cheaper is better. If given the value, reliability, After sale service and meeting all the requirements above, I believe 20-23k is a decent price to pay.
