I have the old PS3 (The very first 40 GB version).
Today I was playing a game and then suddenly it freezed and from then on the PS3 is not detecting the Disc Drive
I tried some movie DVDs and some Game Blue-Ray discs. The PS3 does not even show a disc drive under "video" or "games" section! Inserting and ejecting discs still works but it makes weird sounds. When I insert a disc the blue light turns on and nothing happens after that.
I live in Bangalore. Is there any place in Bangalore where I can get this fixed? What could be the problem?
