PS4 Controller Dead?

Hi Everyone, as the title says, one of my PS4 controllers (that shipped with the console) went dead while I was playing a game a few days ago. I suspect it is the battery but is there a way to fix it? I saw that replacement batteries are available online - on that I wanted to check if its worth a shot - and if yes, then would any battery with the correct rating do (I'd get a battery with 2000MAH and same voltage rating in that case).

No Battery replacement is available in India.

You can buy generic replacement lithium cell and replace the battery. if you have basic tools at home then you can do it.

Did you use a fast charger to charge the controller? Fast chargers can kill your controller. I found it out the hard way.

Other than that, the batteries are seldom the issue. Most of the time its the USB connector that's faulty.

I have bought from spare parts from chamunda games in the past. You might want to check in with them too. as a matter of fact, I have a spare battery too. Let me know if that's the model you want.

I don’t believe this is a battery issue. It would be better to purchase a used controller.
I’ve been using play and charge kit (battery) for an xbox controller for the past 10 years and it still works very well.

Did you use a fast charger to charge the controller? Fast chargers can kill your controller. I found it out the hard way.

Unfortunately, I did. Damn it I should have thought of that risk ! - Although there's still a chance that it is the battery, because when it stopped working, it wasn't connected, although I had charged it with a fast charger about an hour ago.

I have a spare battery too. Let me know if that's the model you want.

Dang it!

I think the one that I have is for V1. The connector size is different. Voltage is same(3.7V), but it wont fit your controller.

I will pray for your controller's life.
