PSU or SMPS Guide
I have come across many a times people facing the problems of system hang ups when gaming , system restarts , system wudnt boot when a new component is added( Mostly a GCard ) , often making the user think the new component is faulty . I was fortunate enough to bewarned before hand after i saw the whole episode my fr went through ,( we were novices at that time and had never used a GCard before ) ,he wud have system restarts while gaming , he went about getting his mobo and gcard checked , which came back as " fine " , finally through a geek we figured out the the PSU was insufficient . phew ... 2 months of turmoil for nothing .
Moral of the story : We generally arent aware or overlook the PSU aspect .( ofcourse the newbie's ) .
