PC Peripherals PSU Suggestions

HI All

I am on lookout for a new PSU as my current PSU (Tacens Supero 500W) had gone bad and giving problems and i need to replace it. My config is as follows:

AMD Athlon II X3 440
ASUS M4A78LT-M-LE
1 TB WD HDD
Sony DVD writer
2 x 2 gb Corsair XMS3 1666 RAM

Please suggest an appropriate PSU for the above mentioned config. I do not game at all, nor do I intend to in the future. This PC is used strictly for Browsing, listening to music, watching movies processing Word documents, Excel etc.

I do not have a strict budget as such but I would prefer not to exceed above Rs 2500

Seasonic ss400bt or if you can manage 1k+ more, seasonic s12II 430.

Yes. All the PSUs you mentioned should run your PC just fine and even an upgrade BUT a PSU like Seasonic should last you much longer and provide clean power which should increase the life of your components (vs a cheap PSU).
