Laptops RAM Upgrade on Compaq Presario V6608AU

i'm planning to upgrade the RAM on my Compaq presario v6608au. I have a couple of queries about this

1. Will the warranty void if i upgrade the RAM before the expiry of the warranty period?
2. What is the BUS speed of the RAM that i'd need to pick up for this?
