Laptops Ram Upgrade option

I've HP Pavillion DV6701AU lappy which have 2 x 512MB DDR2 667Mhz onboard, now i would like to upgrade it to 2GB..Since, chipset supports only two Dimm slots, i've only one option - to replace both 2 x 512MB with 2 x 1GB DDR2 667Mhz or 800.. Now, the present 512MB's is under warranty till feb 2009, Is it worth to wait till feb or to upgrade at now?
furthermore, what are the best brands available? is it advisible to go for 667 or 800Mhz as i'm afraid higher frequency may bottleneck with HT bus which is 800MHz..Help

RAM Upgrade will not void your warranty. Just buy better quality RAM 2x1 GB and better replace with the same MHz. i.e 667. best to buy Corsair VS1GBSDS667D2 ,DDR-II 667Mhz 1GB should be about 1400 per stick.- ask Amarbir of Lynx.
