First excise duty down by 4%, now $ down to 46.5 almost from 51 :)
Hope we get better deals from our dealers now as there has been (10% $$ rates and 4% excise duty cut) = 12-15% downturn . Show me the deals now dealers , otherwise :@ its like the airline industry. We all want Corsair 450W again for 3.2k :D
 
damn good news.....even though our distributors do/may not pay heed to the downslide, hopefully things through KMD would get cheaper again......

haha....now lets see how distris react to this....wt excuse they have now:no:
 
all the distris are very quick to increase the rate when the $$ shoots up, i doubt they'll show the same alacrity to lower the rates now :P
 
Bad days are not over yet,still much more worst left in markets.This go on rally is timely.Corporate results in January are pain in ass,carries capability for testing earlier bottom made by markets.Serious downturn expected either after expiry or after the end of December.
 
^ but they jack up the prices immediately the dollar rate goes up...wonder how they dont think about old stocks then
 
well if u look at dealer section they have jacked up the prices of ram:@ ,dont know whether its is distributors or dealer mutual understanding to jack up so they have better margins.
oh well hope KMD prices go down,for the same price as corsairs ram CL5 u can get Gskill CL4 via kmd.

Ya ppl should rather get the Gskills...they are far far better in performance, build quality and looks as well :). Btw the RAM price increase has been due to international priving increase today after Samsung/Hynix announced production cuts. They checked website and immediatley decided lets pile it up and screw ppl and all our dealers can do is say price has been increased. Afterall they are just puppets in the hands of distris :) ....and nothing done abt the 4% excise duty cut and 10% drop in $ rates. They will take effect only after new stock comes but increases r welcome frm next business day. We all should start business, the Indian way.....only motive is PROFIT growth in double digits ! The great Indian economy lives that way :D
 
Excise was there only on manufactured computers and not on parts. That has come down from 12% to 8%. So expect cheaper laptops from Dell and HP. But for us, it makes very little difference. Only LCD prices might drop slightly.

Yeah i don't care about how they look, sitting inside a BOX :bleh:
