In both the mouse scroll wheel is not working properly.( Rubber band effect when scrolling)

No offense but you can pick a brand new one with two years warranty for 3k from elitehubs. Unforturnately their site is down. You can get one for 3.5k from itdepot.

Most people who would be buying a 8Khz polling rate mouse would be using it for competitve fps games and would most likely have their jump bound to scroll wheel. Hence, they wouldn't be able to use it with the rubber band issue.
