I got the below mail from Google. Has anyone received similar mail from Google. I tried checking this domain and ip address belongs to Amazon. I immediately changed the password. Is it my email account is compromised

Someone recently tried to use an application to sign in to your Google Account, xxx@gmail.com . We prevented the sign-in attempt in case this was a hijacker trying to access your account. Please review the details of the sign-in attempt:

Same happened with me.
Actually Google detects your login location, mine was using Citrix(remote desktop client used in ofc) that takes US IP so after passing normal username and password, it asked for either my mobile number Or recovery email Id Or security question.
I chose mobile number & it went fine.

Maybe some body has got your login credentials but not whole details, so you are safe now.
Keep changing password at regular intervals & chose tough one to be on safe side.

Yes, if you are using VPN from office, it will detect office IP. It happened with me, and Google told that my account was used from Cleveland. However, if you haven't done any such thing, better is to change password immediately and go for two-step verification process.
