Monitors Recommend 19" LCD monitor

Available options Benq, Viewsonic, Samsung and LG.. I tried hard but no dealer here in Gwalior seems to have a clue of exact model numbers. So please tell me which exact model to look out for and how much should I be looking to pay for it.

I want to Buy it for my Brother with main use of surfing, msoffice work and using as a tv with external tv tuner and occasional gaming. Please suggest a combination thats a nice mix of quality and economy (price tag around 9k). DVI option and inbuilt speakers etc. arent that necessary.

I will suggest viewsonic as i am useing it u can look at VG1921WM if u want widescreen (rs. 8600) and if a normal square will do then go in for VA1912Bwb (rs. 9500)

Only the Samsung 943NWX(9.6k) & 920 NW(9.2k) are in your price range..

BenQ FP92W is available for 9.8k..

Viewsonic VX1932WM - 2 ms response time @ 1440x900

Viewsonic VX1940WM - 2 ms response time @ 1680x1050

Both are less than 11k, and worth it.

y not try the market section ... many ppl are upgradin to 22/24" ... so check the market section you should be able to get the Dell 19 incher for ~8.5k.

If you are buying a new one get the Dell, Viewsonic's RMA su#$x.

Avoid viewsonic their service is too bad.

dell 19" is costing Rs. 9300 + 4% in Karnataka with 3 years warranty.

I think is best available for the Price & RMA.
