Budget 25-30k Recommend android phone under 30k, thanks

Novice
Primary usage: daily use, mild gaming (eg eFootball, not any PUBG like high graphics game)
Main requirements: long lasting, good battery, good camera, 8GB RAM, 256 storage if possible, 128 works as well
Preferred brands: samsung, oneplus
Disliked brands: xiaomi (not good in this range), oppo, vivo (both have too much bloatware)

I liked oneplus nord 2T but it does not have earphone port. It's not a dealbreaker but I would absolutely love to have the option to use wired earphones. I don't have much knowledge about processors and other stuff.

Please provide your recommendations and reasons

I got the S21 FE for 30K after card discounts few days back. Look out for offers in Flipkart

You will need to spend 1.2K for charger as it comes without one. No 3.5mm headphone output, so will need an adapter for that as well

Moto Edge 40

Pros over S21FE - better thermals, slightly better battery life
Cons over S21FE - slower android updates, inferior rear cams

UI is subjective but for me, One UI of Samsung is superior over stock android. 5000mah battery on Edge 40 would have done wonders for battery life, but wouldn't have been slim & as light as it is now.

For gaming, Poco F5 will be faster though, like 50% faster GPU it seems acc. to benchmarks. Still for mild gaming D8050 is competent & faster than S778. Check GSMArena reviews.

Poco F5 if you are able to use a custom rom, just install any popular rom like pixel experience and you are good to go, no more bloatware

otherwise , as others have mentioned, s21fe for 31k or lower, anymore and its not worth it. month end theres gonna be a flipkart sale for phones, good chance of getting a phone for cheap then

thanks but both your suggestions are over my budget, couldnt even find moto edge 40 on amazon. what's your opinion on redmi note 12 pro?

If you use cashbacks and coupons then maybe you can score a Pixel 6A under 30k. It's a good camera first and foremost and it's processor is decent enough for it's camera, over all really neat. If you're going to daily drive a phone just make sure on the surface it really really makes a difference if the animations are snappy.

If you're considering something more pocketable however, your choice of S20 fe is also nice for its price.

all the recommendations don't have earphone jack, some don't have adapters in the box. it's making me incline towards redmi note 12 pro. can you provide on that? thanks
Note 12 pro has MIUI which is full of bloatware and almost spyware level ads. I personally don't like the software as much but for you I'd recommend you go into a physical store and actually play around with it and see if it's fine for you.
My alternative would be the A14 5g it has a headphone jack and you can tell it was made with the Indian audience in mind. It has a dated look but it's also substantially cheaper.

IMO it won't be wise to make your decision based on availability of 3.5mm adapter in the box.

S21 FE checks almost all the boxes for you. It has excellent camera, excellent software and years of Android OS updates. It has average battery though.

I would not recommend going for OnePlus phones now.

This phone looks pretty cool NGL. Ticks a lot of my boxes.

Apple started, others followed. Anti-consumer practice considering Sony made the 3.5mm jack to return on their flagships. So definitely not a space issue. Heck S23 ultra has a long stylus inside it.

Most people who own a 30k phone have moved to BT, including myself. Sadly that's the reality.

If you are going Xiaomi, get Poco F5, much better phone, mainly a much faster SoC & 1 extra OS update are the big pros. Also better battery life.

Edit: Poco F5 has a 3.5mm jack

Poco F5 or poco x5 pro, oled with great brightness, good stereo speakers, chip on F5 is faster than snapdragon 8 gen 1

Pixel 6a and poco F5 both are great for their price, if you are not into custom roms and unlocking bootloader stuff, then Pixel 6a, i suggest avoid miui
