i'm planning to buy a new system...for my budget i'm considering AMD Athlon 64 X2 7750 Black Edition....but i'm very confused with the motherboard.....i'm not a hardcore gamer...so additional grafix card is out of question...mainly internet,soft games,few programming n multimedia stuff.so can u recommend a decent mo bo....with inbuilt decent grafix,sound n lan.....n most important supports 2-4 gb ddr2 ram @800/1066 Mhz...n my budget is max 3k....is it true 7750 works best with AM2+ mo bo.....

regards...

In 3k you can get a Jetway MObo with 780 chipset....

I would suggest that you check out the Biostar mobo with 760G chipset that sells for 3k...

If u can spare 1k more.... go for the Gigabyte780G mobo.. :)

@IceFusion

@taher

thanx for the reply...

well if i extent my budget to 4.5k...what r the other option....i'm sure not to have additional grafix card....it should be a decent inbuilt.....n the RAM????

why U want X2 7750 ? slow @ stock, doesnt cross 3.2

Get Gigabyte G31+Intel E7300+8600GT etc, even if U r not hardcore gamer, U should know abt bang for buck, heck U can buy 4670+G31 mobo in 6.5k and max any game on 17" panel, compared to 'decent inbuilt' 790GX 6k mobo.

@SidhuPunjab...

well my budget for pro + mo bo is max 6k....i just cant find ne thing in intel....if u guys have ne suggestions...pls let me know.....as of now 7750+ is my safe bet....except that i'm not finding ne suitable mo bo....

In addition to sidhu's post i will say another VFM chip is E5200 beats 7750 at stock speeds...

E5200 won't even be able to touch the performance of X2 7750BE at stock. :cool2:
Even when overclocked, the X2 fares better than E5200 in almost all applications except for gaming which the OP won't be doing as it looks like...

So, its X2 over the E5200...:)

Agreed but X27750 comsumes more power when compared to the E5200....

thanx u guys all.......

but there is no solution to my problem....it remains the same......only technical debate will not help my cause.....i came to this forum for help....n get valuable sugestion.....

i'm again stating my view......it remains the same from my first post....

1-my budget max 6k

2-selected AMD 7750+ BE as my cpu(approx 3.5k)....suggest a suitable(workable,decent enough....) mo bo.

3-if not amd....suggest me intel cpu plus mo bo combo for my 6k budget

4-my requirements remain the same from my first post....

regards....

Alrite get a X2 7750BE and a 740G board.
Dat should be sufficient and well within ur budget of 6k.

U dnt need to go for 780G, considering ur requirements even a good 690G board should work out well...:cool2:

if U r k w/ 40W more power consumption, go w/ X2 7750. light gaming, only internet n multimedia purpose, think abt power bills.

Using Cool and Quiet, the difference won't be 40W. :cool2:
40W is only when the system is in full load which will rarely happen.

On normal conditions like browsing or watchng a movie, there will be max a difference of 10W and at idle like downloading and stuff, the difference in power requirement will be zero...

I feel X2 7750BE would be a better option, since at stock, its much faster than E5200...And dats what the OP needs...Something that performs good all at stock...:eek:hyeah:
