Well 2900Pro landed here today :)
Just pics for now. Detailed comparison between this card and 8800GTS coming up in few days ;)

 
Btw, i've not been keeping up with the happenings in the gfx card market since i bought my 7600GS last year..:p So how does this compare with the 8800GTS? I know tht XFX 8800GTS 320 mb is for some 18k odd, so if this performs on par with the 8800GTS, then its a gr8 buy at 14k....:D
 
It costs same as 8800GTS 320MB. 14k is imported card price.

How does this card performs compared to 8800GTS 320MB well you will know that by coming wednesday or thursday.

I am doing a comparative testing with WIC, SS2, Bioshock, Prey, UT3 demo and HL2 EP2 with latst final driver releases from both NV and ATI. ( Not 7.10 RC4 like most testing reviews out there but 7.10 final ).
 
Funky...Will it be possible for you to check these mods.

1. 2900 Pro bios flash to 2900XT

2. The flashed 2900Pro(2900XT) to FireGL V8600 via drivers.

Dont bother abt FireGL benchies if its a pain...But just knowing the possibilities will help.

Flash should be easy. I already have all the tools needed. But I am first gonna finish all the benchies on both cards and then flash it. Clocking this card seems easy as its already ocing way beyond the 2900XT speeds. :)

hmm nice car for hdimi only no gamer

u can swap any card between 8800 gts or ati 2900 pro :p
