I have TP-Link Archer C6 AC1200 which was working great but last night it rained heavily and router had some water resulting in non functional WAN port, Since warranty ended last month I have no other option to either repair this router or buy a new one. I am using 2 LAN ports (PC and android box for TV) and around 4~5 mobile devices with 200mbps connection.

In case of a new router (Budget around 2.5k, Can extend if VFM), Is it possible to get a router that support VPN on guest mode so I can use full speed on normal mode and use guest mode when VPN is needed?

I tried hot air but didn't work will try to configure as Access Point also old model doesn't support VPN in guest mode, will see if new model does.
whenever this happens always keep any electronic device it in raw rice. It absorbs all moisture water. for best results keep that device filled with raw rice in sunlight.
And keep it there at least a day or 2. Then again blow hot air if available or keep under direct sunlight for hour or two.
Then try.
NEVER TURN ON DEVICE IMMEDIATELY AFTER WATER DAMAGED.

I tried this with induction cooktop and mobile.

Yeah but it rained overnight and I came to know about it only in the morning.
