Repeatative stress injury!!!

Im in serious pain :( after all my exams were over, i was sitting on this lappy for over 14 hours everyday. Now i cant type. when i press keys or click on the mouse i feel pain and its like im getting electric shocks on my fingertips. Since three weeks my fingers have been screaming to go to the doctor.

Lappy kbs are so crap :@ they are twice as hard as those pc ones. oh somebody tell me what to do, im afraid ill not stop until i have permanently damaged my fingers :crutch: :death:

guys do google for "RSI" and "Repeatative stress injury" to see if you are also suffering from something similar. its very scary. you might be on the way to ruin your fingers permanently
 
I am aware of RSI.... that is one of the reasons I keep myself fit by doing some physical activity or the other.....

You better run to the doctor.... .

something similar happened to me too...i was playin gp4 for something like 7 hrs and after that i cudnt get my forefinger back to the normal position...it was stuck in an arc and the pain was terrible...after that i stopped typing...no keyboard(alt wheel).
so better take care of urself man.
 
Funny. I find lappy keyoards much better than regular keyboards.
And normally my hands/lower arms ache after the exam (or submission) and recover after using the comp post exam!!!
 
Get ur hands checked asap man!!

I know how bad it can it hurt....esp playing NFS with the keyboard!!!(but since i have moved on to a gamepad)
 
wel it happened to me once, too much CSS, my index finger wudnt respond, lol, it was like stuck there, i tried to move it with my other hand and it aced like hell, so gave it a break, dipped my hand in luke warm water for 5 mins and gave it a rest by not playing/typing,

this also proves that ur workstation layout, that is the seating position ur in while typing is not good...

Then how will you switch back on? will ur sis switch u back on which I highly doubt judging by her posts, so i duess u need to call that leapords for the job :P

Yeah, there are some issues with the chair height and stuff. My PC is sleeping on the comp table while im on a study table which is a little higher. but my problem is mainly cos of heavy usage and not the table, cos ive been on that table for 2 years before i got myself the comp table and a nice chair.

Heyyy my problem too started when i was playin CZ ! was really pressing keys haRRRd cos i kept getting fked :ohyeah:

Going to Doc tomorrow(?) :)
