Storage Solutions Replacement cable for WD my passport 1tb

hi, my external HDD wasn't getting detected and was scared that I lost so
much of data luckily I tried my friends cable voila it got detected, and tried
my cable with friends HDD and the result was same non detecting HDD. As
HDD is in warranty I need cable replacement, can anyone provide
information on how to get replacement cable.

You can use the USB connectors which comes with any Android phones, but this will give you only speed for USB 2. (you need to just connect the USB 2.0 part)
Personally never bough an USB 3.0 cable but you can checkout ebay for USB 3.0 cable for e.g. http://www.ebay.in/itm/new-usb-3-0-...1274?pt=in_computer_components#ht_1079wt_1163

^HDD is in warranty so I need replacement from WD, I'm not buying aftermarket cable.
my query is how to RMA the cable.

Send the complete hdd to them.

I dont think there is RMA for the Cables. Only RMA for the HDD. but you can check with WD on 18002005789.
