Request: Options - Good Dual SIM phone - NON qwerty

Hi Enclavers,

I am not good with phone information. My last purcahse was 3 years back.

I need a good dual SIM phone for my wife.

Have gone through most of the threads here:

Options given so far.

Samsung: W259/B7722/E2652/C5212/C3212/C6112/C6712

Nokia: C2-02 / C2-06

Motorola: EX128

LG: KS660

She does not like touch pad for texting.

What is the difference between the C2-02 and the C2-06

I am looking for something above 4500 and below 10k rupees.

I am located in Pune right now. Please tell me if online shopping is feasible (given all the octroi comlications here).
Please help.

Please help:

I need a decent phone with:

Dual SIM Active

Prefer a normal keypad (not qwerty) / touch as the last option

Price range - above 4K - 7K

Mobile used mostly for calls and SMS only. Looking for a good battery life and good call quality.

Checked the Samsung W259 - but it says 1 SIM is GSM and the other SIM slot is for CDMA. My requirement is BOTH SLOTS should hold GSM SIMs.

A double post - my apologies.

are you looking for a DUAL ACTIVE or DUAL STANDBY model?

DUAL ACTIVE means both the sims are active all the time irrespective if your on a call on sim1 you can receive a call on SIM2.

Model: Samsung c3212, c5212, c6112

Model: Samsung b7722 (but doesn't fit in as not into touch as you metion)

DUAL STANDBY, only one sim works at a time

Model: Most other phones listed are DUAL STANDBY.

Samsung C6112 is an overall good one, would be my choice

I'm using a dual sim standby model and it is quite sufficient; after all how often do you get a call from your other sim while you are talking and you absolutely must keep both calls active at the same time.

Unfortunately the Samsung C6112 is out of stock everywhere.

The Samsung C3212 is out of production and out of stock too.

The Samsung C5212 is a good phone but too bland in looks - its definitely there on the buy list but waaaaay below.

Looks like i am out of options if i stick to the dual active option.

Going by Chiron's opinion:

Please suggest good dual stand by phones too:

The present Karbonn phone my wife owns has TWO call rececive and TWO call drop buttons. As long as selecting a SIM is not cumbersome - i would consider the standby option too.
