Hi,
I wanted to request all dealers selling products here to post detailed warranty information.

Currently, i see thread like
Product - Price
Features
Shipping Charge
Warranty Duration

Now i would appreciate if dealers would be more open on warranty terms.

  • Whom to Contact incase of RMA. give Help line no or email id
  • Which distri would handling RMA, does it have a service center in buyer city
  • If item have to be shipped to another city. who would bear shiipping expenses back and fourth
  • Will tempaory part would be provided?
  • Mininmun & Max duration for a replacement
  • What if the item is DOA?

I think it will also be beneficial for dealers as they won't have to give out warranty details separately to every buyer.
So it a time saving measure for them
 
Also if the dealer is ordering from outside, we can show divisions like
  • Shipping from abroad to dealers place (International shipping)
  • Shipping from dealers place to home (Local shipping)

which will enable to work with more transparency and avoid any hassles :)

eh? who do they have to reveal their international shipping rates?

Everyone is mentioning the local shipping rates and final cost to the user, that should be enough.

Most other details are provided. RMA procedure is straight forward. All local distributors offer pan India warranty coverage. So all you have to do is contact your nearest service center.

No one will promise you Min or Max time period for RMA turnover.

If the product is imported and dealer is offering dealer warranty then he should mention all the details to the buyers which the dealers on TE are doing.

We dont want to make things to appear more cluttered or over complicated.

Maybe a single thread with warranty terms of every dealer on TE would do ( in case of any exceptions, they can mention in the thread )
