What about "Best answer" feature? I hope that this will motivate members to work harder on their replies and give a more accurate, reliable and better answer.
And I do still think that upvote/downvote feature is a must have. It might screw up the thread and jumble up the replies (because post voting doesn't take the time of posting into consideration) but i feel that it will be worth it.

Btw whenever i hover my mouse pointer over the Conversation tab i see that its being sorted in ascending order like the oldest message is at the top and most recent message is nowhere to be found. But i can see that there's no problem when i actually open up the Conversation (most recent message is displayed at the top).

Can we have a price discussion column/thread whatever in the above section please? Not a huge deal but I was looking to create a non-"budget" buying thread, kind of for a price discussion only (ITS IMPORTANT OKAY?) and i couldn't post it without the damn prefix. looks like this one has been rejected.
Also options for upvotes/downvotes would be great in this section since we post a lot of replies there. Members who do not want to go through deep discussion can simply upvote/downvote an answer.
You can do away with the "likes" in this section.
What do the mods/admins think?

The prime purpose of that section is PC config advice. And the first thing anyone wants to know - what is your budget? By making the budget prefix mandatory, it helps people start their threads with some clarity.
A mod can always remove the prefix for the once-in-a-blue-moon thread, and IMHO its better that way.

There are already price update threads for a few cities. Price discussion seems more suited to the PC peripherals (aka unofficial general computing section) and has been shifted there, so no problem with the prefix :)

Alright thanks, removing the prefix was all i wanted. I didn't know where to put the thread so i did it on the first section which came to my mind.
