Ok... so I often login from multiple different places. Sometimes I login from home in the morning, I get new posts but do not finish reading them. When I go to work and login, I can only get the new posts from the last visit. I have tried to do a search for all new posts with a certain time range... but I have to include a user name or a search term. Is there a better way of handling this so that I can see all post from the same day?

Thanks :D

Do you mean to say that the new posts feature isn't efficient enough? I mean it still retains the posts except the threads are marked as read, right? That's the kind of nitpicking only a tech forum can produce.

...unless I am totally mistake about this thread that is.

I completely understood what Pixel sir was trying to say. Once you logout and login again, all the posts will be marked as read. Also, if you keep the today's post page open for a long time, the pages wont load(links to the list of pages..1,2,3 etc) as new posts must have come. I was also wondering on getting a solution for this.

@bottle

Botlle's method is a good way to get current days post. But if I am logging in after some days gap, this will not be helpful , as I will be getting only today's posts alone, right

Yes this is what I meant.... once you press the "Get New Posts" button, then everything will be marked as read and sometimes I don't have the time to finish reading all the new threads that come up. Then all of them will be marked as read and won't show up if you surf from another location later in the day....if you have read them all or not. This means that you have to wade through the trying to find the ones you may not have read yet. :'(

...and Bottle this is at least a working solution I was unaware of, Thanks ;)
Is it possible to change the mark as read feature off and then back on again after you have read everything you want.

Also this shows up only 6 pages worth of posts, irrespective of whether there are more posts than that isnt it?
