Storage Solutions Return not received ?

I sent my Seagate 320GB 7200.10 last week for an rma to accel frontline, chennai......according to the courier tracking, it reached there on monday but when i check the return status on seagate's website, it shows Awaiting ur return.....and not received by seagate.....
Is it coz they dont update the site frequently or should i panic ???

PS: I had clearly mentioned the order number on the top near the address......

err... sometimes their left hand doesn't know what right hand is doing.

i had quiet similar issue...

i was to receive my athlon X2 from rma via accel frontline...

i used to check accell frontline web for the same...

and status was 'allocating replacement material' even when i had received the replacement.

the same issue is with wd..

i had given 640AAKS for rma...

and it was around 5weeks since the drive was collected from me....

so i was bit pissed off since it should not take this much time....

whenever i used to call, they used to promise me that my drive will be shipped withing coming 3days...

i received my drive in total 1 month since pick up date...and i kept calling till that date...

they still promised me the same thing despite of receiving the drive :P

maybe courier mishap.

It's alright. Accel (Chennai branch in particular!) does not seem to update the status on a regular basis. This has happened to me a couple of times leaving me wonder if my drive has reached them safely! So long as the drive is packed right and the RMA number's clearly marked on the consignment, you're on the safe side!

Someone pls give me the phone number of accel frontline in chennai.......more than a week has passed and still the site shows not received.......what to do if they have not got it?
 
@jeffrain, accel has an office in trivandrum - at thycaud. Any particular reason why you sent it to their chennai office?
 
Same happened with me.

I RMAed 2.5" WD HDD, which was sent to Delhi. I kept checking WD site for status which showed "awaiting receipt of defective product" after i sent it 5days back. before I could think much, I got my replacement drive at my door on 6th day itself and site still showed "awaiting receipt of defective product" for next couple of days. after that I didn't bother to check:P
 
i didn't know bout the thycaud office.....

when i submitted the RMA form on seagate, it showed the nearest center to be in chennai
