Planning to get these through. wanted to know if anyone else is interested so we can order it together.
The media is very good, already confirmed about the media from techhead.

bd-dl is very expensive on newegg. not worth it. if you find other links for DL media then post them here.

bluray burners are available here in india for almost 1nhalf year.
 
RiDATA DVDs don't last for long. I had bought RiDATA DVD+R and DVD-R and after 4 years, they are not readable/writable . Some of the blank ones are not recognized by my dvd writer. So be careful. Better invest in TDK or Fuji (only Japan make).
 
A 100 pack DVD offers offers approximately 430GB of usable space for Rs.1100~1200/-

The 15 pack 25GB BD-R set will offer approximately 360GB of usable space for Rs.2020/-
 
Err...its more to do with convenience than cost...noone wants to write a HD movie worth size 20GB is 5 discs and change discs after every 25 mins:)
and it makes ur dvd collection more organised:)

My post was simply an after thought :)

I would've jumped this if i owned a BluRay drive.
